La Chanson is Tiphaine Raffier’s first show, created in 2012 at the Théâtre du Nord as part of the Prémices Festival, with actors Noémie Gantier, Victoria Quesnel and Tiphaine Raffier.
In 2017, Tiphaine Raffier directed a medium-length film based on the show. This project, accompanied by the production company AnnéeZéro, is supported by the Centre National du Cinéma. It was presented in May 2018 at the Directors’ Fortnight in Cannes. The film has since been selected for more than 30 festivals around the world. Winning, among others, the Short Film Grand Prize in Brest, Best Music and Special Mention of the Jury in Clermont, as well as the Critics’ First Prize at the Barcelona International Film Festival. It was also included in the official selection of short films for the Césars in 2020.
