In 2015, when I founded La femme coup\u00e9e en deux<\/em> company, I set myself the ambition of writing shows and directing them. \n \nIn my work, I try to reconcile radical research with the simple pleasure of storytelling. \nI’m looking to transcend a classic narrative thread through a demanding approach to thinking and a search for absolutely contemporary forms. \nTo achieve this, the artists of La femme coup\u00e9e en deux bring together the sum of their talents and the tools that make up theater: literary construction, the demands of language, the actor and his acting, spatial devices, sound creation, video creation and lighting design. \nObsessed by the question of discrepancies – discrepancies between what we hear and what we see, between the image and the written word, between the visible and the invisible, between the materiality of the stage and the spectator’s imagination – I like the spectator to move around, because that, in my opinion, is his or her greatest freedom. \nAt least the freedom we should give them, and the freedom they should take: the freedom to move their minds. \nIn this way, my pieces can be seen as variable-geometry maps, where each person is free to take the path he or she wishes. \nObsessed by the motif of the double, of reality and fiction, of the original and the copy, I never stop talking about the world and its representations. \nFor as long as I can remember, I’ve had the feeling of being surrounded by people split in two. \nMany things can split people in two: love, money, sexuality, illness, fear of death, religion, terrorism, ambition, culture, politics, family… I also believe in the virtues of theater as a place that can both separate and reconcile people.Working as a director and actress.Working in Lille and Marseille. <\/p>\n\n

The company La femme coup\u00e9e en deux is now associated with the TNP (since 2020), the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Nanterre-Amandiers (since 2021), the Quai \u2013 CDN d’Angers (since 2023), the Nouveau Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Besan\u00e7on CDN (since 2025) and, from 2026, the Maison de la culture d’Amiens and the \u00c9quinoxe – sc\u00e8ne nationale de Ch\u00e2teauroux.<\/p>\n\n

The company La femme coup\u00e9e en deux<\/em> receives support from the Ministry of Culture \/ Hauts-de-France Regional Cultural Affairs Directorate, under the aid program for accredited companies, and is supported by the Hauts-de-France Region.<\/p>\n\n
